I am excited to announce the next book release!

What a fantastic project his has been!

With the faith of Alma, the perseverance of Abish, or the humble strength of Ammon – every child has the potential to change their world for good in a powerful way. This adorable board book is meant to be shared with your own tiny heroes in your life.

Details on the physical print release is coming soon!

About Rose

I’ve been an animator, writer, and illustrator in the book and game industry for over a dozen years and have lead teams to create fantastic projects. But my favorite job has been as a professional mischief maker with my two adorable minions and my husband Nefi, my nefarious partner in mischief.

Wildworks

I had an awesome time leading the art production at Wildworks for a children’s educational game from National Geographic. We like to think the game focuses on playfully learning facts about nature and the environment, but it’s really about wearing fun hats.
And cute little houses!

Besides discovering a great team there, I discovered I love designing homes and props for the cute animals!! I mean, how great is that?

I designed many of the sets, plants, and buildings specifically for the story part of the game, the Adventures. (Say that with a cool, deep, narrator voice.)

ELECTRONIC ARTS

I worked on Risk: Factions for Facebook. It’s no longer around, but despite the funny platform it was a successfully fun and silly game made by some very talented professionals.

The awesome tank above was designed by Powerhouse animation and I took some icon designs by an awesome teammate and matched each needed icon to the style.

I did all kinds of art in this game. From style guides to prop design and from characters to UI. Some highlights were storyboarding, managing, and animating the opening cut scene with the rest of the amazing art team. We played hard with that and it was so fun to animate.

Completely different style to learn, but all the line work was really fun.
I wish I had more of the art in possession from this fun game.

NEW ERA

Writing and illustrating for the youth magazine The New Era was just fun!

I got to be the guinea pig for the new graphic novel style pages and try out ideas for look and story. It was awesome to see it work out in the end! Holding printed work is a favorite of mine. It was also really fun to see stories I’d written illustrated by talented friends of mine.

Sketches

I enjoy the process from roughs to final work. Here are some of my older favorites. Enjoy!
